El mayor espectáculo del voley playa internacional vuelve inexorable como cada año. Las playas más selectas del mundo acogen el Circuito de esta especialidad, en el que como siempre, las parejas españolas tendrán mucho que decir. Este año, el World Tour visitará España en la prueba de Mallorca

Que mejor manera podría haber de tratar la resaca de Atenas y los Juegos Olimpicos que un viaje a Mallorca donde bañados por el sol y descansando al lado del mar obrará maravillas en los doloridos brazos de los diestros componentes de los equipos de Beach Volley. Aunque este descanso y relajación sólo podrá tener lugar después de que los jugadores lo den todo para conseguir la victoria en el Open Español.

En los últimos 30 años, turistas de todas Europa se han congregado en la isla de Mallorca, para poder disfrutar del maravilloso clima mediterráneo, la impresionante costa y la hospitalidad local.

Este será el torneo final que ofrecerá puntos clasificatorios para los Juegos Olimpicos 2004, así que la contienda promete ser tensa. Nadie se puede permitir perder este torneo.

Yet the rest and relaxation can only take place on this Balearic isle after all players present give their all to gain victory at the Spanish Open.

For the past 30 years, holiday-makers from all over Europe have been flocking to the island of Mallorca, keen to experience the superb Mediterranean climate, the stunning coastline and the unique hospitality.

As one of the leading destinations in the Spanish tourist industry, Mallorca has also welcomed the world's leading men's Beach Volleyball players for the past three years and this summer the largest of the Balearic Islands will host the women's World Tour as well for the first time since 1992.

One of the most attractive aspects of the Spanish Open is the location of the tournament where the courts are lined up directly adjacent to Playa de Palma beach, thus allowing the players and capacity crowds the freedom and the fortune to take a dip in the clear-blue Mediterranean waters in between matches.

This tournament sits as the final tournament offering Olympic qualification points for the 2004 Games so the action is bound to be tense. This tournament is not to be missed.
